A striped crescent triangle with lace panels, this shawl was inspired by many summers of hiking and walking in Acadia National Park. It is a great summer project, easy to knit yet interesting enough to be fun.

This triangular shawl consists of garter stitch stripes alternated with a simple mesh lace. It is knit side to side, and then stitches are picked up along one edge to complete the pattern. Suitable for advanced beginner knitters.
