Whale of a Time Baby Blanket is a nautical and whale themed blanket that will be a hit for new mommies! This is typically a stroller sized baby blanket that can easily be made larger if desired. This is a wonderfully warm and soft cowl that is super easy and fun to knit. It starts with straight knitting and a border and then joins in the round to form a seamless cowl that can be made in just a few hours. It is made by holding 2 strands of yarn together, which also helps make it a quick project and results in a warm cowl. I like to use ...

Cast on more stitches in increments of 5 for a wider, crib sized blanket. You can use any worsted or ar...

This is a reversible blanket that is a lot of fun to knit, and so easy too! I made this baby blanket with Appalachian Baby Organic Cotton. Almost any yarn would work. I prefer using washable yarns so it’s easy for the new mommies to wash their baby blankets. I loved the way the cotton washed up so soft and it can go in and out of the washer and...
