The samples were made in a worsted/aran weight yarn out of acrylic and superwash yarn to withstand the outdoors better. Sugar Mama is a super quick hat knit with Super Bulky yarn. The Broken Rib gives it a ton of texture, and helps it to stretch and fit a variety of size heads. If you need a last minute gift, it is fast to knit but also adds some interest.

You Shook Me is a stranded colorwork hat pattern in which you only use 2 colors in any row. With short spaces between each color, there is no need to trap floats which makes this a fairly easy fair isle pattern for a beginner.

Summer Sandi is a shawl/cowl or a Scowl that is worked flat from the top down as a shawl then in the round to form a cowl. This gives you the look of a triangular shawl without having to use those pesky shawl pins to keep it in place.

In The Light is knit using 3 different colors of yarn while holding the strands doubled. Some easy methods of striping and holding different colored strands is what produces the fade effect.

Bron Yr Aur Stomp is a stranded colorwork hat design made to work with 4 colors of O-Wool Sport mini-skeins.

Four Sticks uses fingering weight yarn held double with four contrasting colors used to create a fun 80s vibe. This is a great pattern to use mini skeins of your favorite colors on, or just use up those leftover sock scraps on! And since the yarn is held double, the hat knits up considerably faster!

Communication Breakdown has a random pixelated type colorwork in the middle to help transition from one color to another. It’s a nice cowl that lets you get two colors in one project!

That’s The Way scarf is a 10 inch wide scarf that creates an off kilter chevron or arrow motif. There is some extra yarn joins involved to produce the interesting color change, but should be easy enough for most knitters.

Kashmir is a hat pattern done two different ways. You can opt for the single cable motif on a reverse stockinette background, or go for the all over cabled version!
