This pattern was the Third Healthy Knitter mystery knit-along and walk-along that provided lots of adventure. This walk-along was a little different…it was a 30-day challenge to walk every day no matter how long or short.

A simple yet elegant cowl that is a delight to knit. I always have one of my needles for social knitting, while watching soccer games to keep me from being “that mom,” or peaceful morning knitting that brings me into the right place before beginning my day.

Reminiscent of winding water-ways covered with snow and ice. I love all the seasons yet there is something so magical about winter. The snow that blankets the earth for a long rest yet the river beneath the ice never ceases and reminds us that life continues even in the dark, quiet days of winter.
