Knitting: Cowl
This cowl uses a simple 16-st by 16-row pattern that is easily memorized. It is knit in the round using magic loop method or 2 circular needles. Top and bottom borders are knit in garter stitches.
Knitting: Cowl
This pattern uses a simple 8-stitch sequence pattern plus 2. The sequence creates the illusion of a diagonal pattern. It is a quick knit using size 10.5 needles and bulky yarn.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This is my third pattern using my ‘Gusset Shift’ heel method. The pattern includes sizes med and large. One skein of fingering yarn will be enough to complete this pair of socks with some yarn left over. Be sure to check out my two other patterns: Shoreline, and Violaceous.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This is my second sock design using my new heel technique I’m calling Gusset Shift heel. Knitting the heel flap and gusset continues in the round so you are not required to pick up stitches along a heel flap knit flat. In addition, the pattern starts with a tip for the join that you can apply to any accessory that is knit in the round.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This sock pattern debuts the ‘Gusset Shift’ heel method that I developed as a hybrid combining features of a traditional flap & gusset heel with features of the Strong Heel that’s knit in the round. Similar to a traditional heel, it has gussets, but does not require picking up stitches on each side of the heel flap. The gussets are created ...
Knitting: Cowl, Scarf
This cowl/infinity scarf pattern was created using Tuck Stitch 83 from Nancy Marchant’s book called ‘Tuck Stitches’. Her book is filled with nearly a hundred variations of tuck stitches. The characteristics, of this method, are similar to brioche. That is, they use two colors and are totally reversible. If you have not attempted brioche, this i...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This asymetrical shawlette pattern was designed to showcase yarn with long color changes throughout. It requires a single 100g hank/ball or two 50g balls of Worsted or DK yarn.
Knitting: Cowl
This infinity scarf is long enough to wear doubled forming a cowl. Gauge is not critical, but should be close to design specs.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This shawl is an introduction to the shaped 1-row sequence knitting method described in Cecelia Campochiaro’s book ‘Sequence Knitting“.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl measures approx 24” top edge, 28” lower edge, and 10” long. It uses two colors of either Dk, Sport, or Fingering (doubled). The tapered shape makes it easy to wear, and it is completely reversible.
Knitting: Scarf
This scarf is totally reversible and suitable for both men and women, depending on your choice of colors.
Knitting: Cowl
This is an infinity cowl using one 100g hank of a variegated worsted weight yarn and approx 80yds each of 3 solid or tonal complementary colors.
Knitting: Cowl
This is a reversible cowl that can be worn in any season depending on your fiber choice.
Knitting: Pullover
This baby sweater is seamless & requires no buttons. An I-cord is woven through eyelets along both sides of the henley neckline opening for closure. The pattern begins at the bottom of the yoke by casting on stitches for the left front, sleeve, back, sleeve, & right front. The yoke uses raglan shaping and is knit flat from the underarm ...
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl uses a stitch pattern called Crowns of Glory. The eyelet formation creates a large eyelet that creates wavy edges. If worn folded in half, both edges can be seen draped over the shoulders.
Knitting: Cowl
This is a long infinity scarf that’s knit lengthwise with diagonal shaping. It is reversible and drapes beautifully.
Knitting: Hats - Other, Beanie, Toque
This is a cabled & eyelet hat. It will fit an average adult head.
Knitting: Scarf
This pattern works well with all types of yarn: solid, semi-solid, multi-colored, kettle dyed, etc.
Knitting: Booties
This is a simple garter stitch baby bootie pattern. It is written for magic loop method but can also be done using double pointed needles. The instep uses German short row shaping.
Knitting: Scarf, Cowl
This pattern was designed to take advantage of the long color changes in the yarn: Feederbrook Farms Entropy DK. I think it would look equally well in gradients.
