Knitting: Toeless Sock
This is the sister pattern to Sockie is Mine. Both pattern names were inspired by the ‘True Blood’ series. I can’t promise you that you will become as flexible as a vampire while wearing these socks during your yoga routines, but it won’t hurt to try!
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Do you remember ‘True Blood’? And how Bill Compton would always claim “Sookie is mine!” when another vampire was near? That’s where these socks get their name from. The sister pattern to this one is a yoga sock pattern called Walk in the Sun, which I encourage you to do unless you are a vampire, then you might want to sprint in the sun…

Getting to Know You is a top-down crescent shaped shawl set in an i-cord frame. The shawl body features complimenting garter stitch, eyelet rows and two-color brioche. The brioche creates a soft and gradual color change while the airy eyelets open up the fabric beautifully. A playful slip stitch border reintroduces the color progression, and an...

The Wool of Ice and Snow is a triangular shawl worked from the bottom up. Simple knit and purl stitches are used to create a fully reversible fabric with a multi-dimensional look. The colorway I used is called “Winter is Coming” and like The Wall of Game of Thrones, this shawl is built block by block out of icy blues and steely greys.

Squish Factor is a triangular shaped shawl worked from the top down. Garter stitch flows into brioche and slipped stitches create an interesting center section. All of these design elements combined produce a soft and squishy fabric, that grows beautifully while blocking.

Soundside is a rectangular shawl knit on the bias, featuring design elements inspired by the movement of water. The wrap is knit in one-piece, starting at one end of the shawl and working its way through the colors as follows: A-B-C-D-C-B-A. The ocean is the center of the shawl, with waves rolling towards the shore and sea spray refracting the ...

Lizka is an asymmetrical triangle shawl knit on the bias. Garter stitch mosaic patterns are separated by slip stitch bands with colorful accents. In mosaic knitting you only work with one color per row. Stitches from the previous row are slipped purlwise, holding the yarn either in the front or the back of your work, to create beautiful motifs.

Mutti Shawl is a top-down triangular shawl that can be worked in one or more colors. The body is made up of relaxing garter stitch, making this wrap the perfect travel project. The pattern then moves into a short mesh section before ending with an elegant yet easy lace edge. Aggressive blocking opens up the fabric and transforms this shawl into...
