The Rotterdam Cowl pattern is a very enjoyable and relaxing knit. It is a good choice for a beginner looking to learn cable knitting, but a more seasoned knitter will certainly be entertained by its easy rhythm.

This unique cowl is knit flat and on the bias, using a provisional cast on and Kitchener stitch to join the edges. You will need 95 - 125 yds of any super bulky (6) yarn and US 13/9mm straight or circular needles. Links to YouTube tutorials are included.

This is a beginner level knitting pattern. It’s gorgeous texture is achieved using only knit and purl stitches. The scarf length is easily modified.
