Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The shawl and name Skovbund (forest floor in Danish) was inspired by walks in the forest on a spring day. If you look closely at the forest floor you will notice the little flowers, buds and vines making their way through the dry leaves.
Knitting: Pullover
The sweater is knit top down in the round with a narrow neck band that goes straight into the cables on the yoke. After the yoke the last increases are done by raglan shaping and then the rest of the sweater is easy stockinette with wide ribbed hems on both sleeves and body.

Bakker means hills in Danish and the shawl was inspired by the view from my window over the soft rolling green hills.

Blomstring Slipover is a fun and satisfying knit with a boxy shape that is easy to adjust with ties in the sides. It’s knit on larger needles with worsted weight yarn making it a quick project and also beginner friendly. The pattern includes video tutorials for the embroidery and more specific details.

The Vildnis Sweater is a seamless top down sweater with a textured yoke. I used a fingering weight woolen spun yarn for a light knit that works for all seasons. The sweater is easy to wear do to the light fabric and simple shape.

The Humlebi socks are a toe up sock with a fleegle heel construction. The design is simple yet fun with only 3 rows of eyelet flowers and bees sit around the leg.

The Loppe stitch is a single stitch of colorwork that has been used traditionally in Scandinavian knitting. It creates a simple yet fun fabric that makes the sweater warmer because of the floats.

During the cold and dark Scandinavian winter I dream of Vår (vår means spring in Danish) and the many little flowers soon to pop up from the cold ground. First Winter Aconite and Snowdrops, followed by Anemones and Primula and later so many little flowers. Vår socks are made to celebrate that spring feeling.

Gro means grow in Danish and I was first inspired to use this little leaf motif for my Hiedra mitts and headband. Then the motif evolved on my Gro shawl and finally now in this sock pattern.

The Bregne Sweater is inspired by the beautiful shape of fern found in the forest where I live. Bregne means fern in Danish.

Woodlark is a type of lark but also a play on words as my name means lark in Danish and this design was largely inspired by walking in the woods where I live.

Bellis is a little white flower found in the grass around my house and just like the flower the design is sweet and simple.

Lopper means fleas and is a traditional scandinavian design - simple and yet so sweet with a nostalgic touch.

The Favo sweater is a cozy oversized hug of a sweater with a high cropped fit and a dropped hem. It has an all over textured pattern with a fun stitch and cable panel in the front. It is perfect to be worn over dresses or with high waisted pants/skirts.

The Jagoda Shawl begins with an easy sea of meditative garter stitch but just as the rows start feeling long it has an interesting border design with simple cables and bobbles to make it a fun knit.
