When I started designing this placemat fire was my first thought. These colours reminds me of campfire, sun and something burning. Even the idea of this placemat was like a burning flame inside of me. Loimu means blaze in Finnish.

Silmu cowl is designed to be worn with Silmu gloves and beanie. There are picot cast on and cast off edges. Cowl is about 30 cm long.

Silmu beanie is designed to be worn with Silmu gloves and cowl. This is one size pattern, but you can change size easily by adding 14 stitch.

Silmu (Bud) gloves are part of my glovebox challenge and inspired by Finnish word Sulo (Sweet). What would be sweeter than a lime colored gloves with a lace and picot.
