Crochet: Decorative - Other
This is a fairly simple design for a heart shaped gift bag in three sizes. The small heart measures approx 9cm (3”) wide, medium heart approx 13cm (5”) wide and the large heart approx 16cm (6.5”) wide.

As a child my mother made me something similar in fabric and I loved that I could pull on the arms and legs and watch them stretch and contract. In a desire to amuse a great nephew I came up with this crochet version and he seems to enjoy it as much as I did.

This is another of my leftover yarn toys. It is very slightly more complicated, but could be made by an adventurous beginner with access to some advice.

This is a bootie pattern that has two styles of ankle cuff, a one piece pointed cuff or five petal shapes for a more girlie finish. I have it on good authority (my niece) that the lace up design means these are quite hard to pull off.

I ended up designing these after learning to make Tudor buttons at a textile fair, Tudor buttons look great but take a long time to make, this version can be made to match any garment and is really quick.

This is my twist on a bobble hat with the pom-pom being formed from the last row of the broomstick work.
