Inspiriing Women Series - 2020

I have been so inspired by the ladies that I watch on crochet podcasts. I wanted to make something bright and full of texture.

Petite Curies are mobile x-ray units that were designed by Marie Curie. Curie and her daughter then trained other young women how to operate the machines. These women traveled along the front lines in France in WWI to assist doctors in treating wounded soldiers.

I made this cowl to use some yarn that I bought to make another pattern that didn’t work out.
