This is a simple form shawl with increases of one stitch on each row with some equal distant eyelet rows. Stiches used are chain, hdc, dc and hdc, dc increases. Worked flat, back and forth until it reaches a “scalene” like triangle.

The Salish Sea is the name for the body of water in and around the emerald jewels that are the San Juan Islands in Washington State and the neighboring islands surrounding Vancouver Island, BC. This pattern is inspired by the pebbles and sea weed that make up a Northwest beach.

I was inspired by the lines and tiles on traditional Korean roof tops. These are pleated shorts that are easy to layer with. The pattern is simple, vertical triangles that make pleats. This pattern is also great for skirts as well!
