The name of this design was inspired by the grey colorway which makes me think of iron, sailors and knights in armor. That is just a step to Ironborns from Game of Thrones. Pyke is the stronghold and seat of House Greyjoy.

Knitting: Beanie, Toque, Headband
Caligo includes three designs: headband, hat and slouchy hat. All three start with the headband which is knit flat. For the hat we pick up stitches from the headband and create the crown knitting in the round to the top of the head or a little longer for the slouchy version.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Betula hat is a combination of things I like. Slouchy shape, dense fabric, stranded knitting and corrugated ribbing that keeps your ears warm. The hat is worked in the round, in two contrasting colors, bottom up.
