This pattern is for a basic dress to fit a fashion doll. It requires only a few yards of yarn and works up nicely in leftover sock or baby yarn.

This pattern is knit from the top down. The only seams are the underside of the sleeves.

This dress is worked from the top down with no seams. The only sewing up is the snap fasteners on the back closing.

This nightgown knits up quickly from leftover baby yarn or sock yarn. It is constructed in one piece and knitted flat from the neck down with a seam in the back.

Gauge achieved will depend upon materials used. I have used an 8ply yarn equivalent to DK with a 3.5mm crochet hook. You may use any yarn you have in your stash with an appropriate sized crochet hook. The materials required will depend upon the size of the blanket you make.

The pattern is written using DK yarn, but to make a smaller size you could use a fingering yarn and a smaller hook. Likewise using thicker yarns and larger hooks would make a larger sized bootie.
