Jacquard is a textured sock, pairing slip stitches, knit-purl chevrons and other color work, to create a fabric reiminiscent of the jacquard looming process. Two cuff options are offered.

Inspiration for the Braided Ribbons was drawn from memories of the designer’s niece as a little girl, hair worn up in braids and ribbons, exploring…climbing…catching herself.

What grownup didn’t have a favorite superhero or as a child created an imaginative one or pretended his or her own person was so venerated. The best among those were strong, kind, persistent, unrelenting…fought for what was good. I’m a true fan of animated action and what is imaginative…thus this project.
