The Interstellar Hat is a colorful stranded colorwork hat inspired by Fair Isle Traditions. It is worked in the round from brim to crown with a charted colorwork pattern on the crown and corrugated ribbing in the brim.

After releasing my Interstellar Shorties pattern in June of 2025, I thought “what if I didn’t knit socks?” I wanted to create another small project that incorporates the colorwork pattern used in these popular little socks, but even easier to knit.
