This pattern is suitable for a confident beginner. I have listed all the stitches at the start of the pattern so if there are any you aren’t familiar with you can check them out on YouTube. I’ve also listed alternatives where possible.

You can make this flower with any weight yarn and corresponding hook. I’ve used size 10 crochet cotton and a 1.5mm hook and the finished flower is 4.8cm. You only need a small amount of each colour so it’s great for using up ends!

This is a versatile flower pattern - the main pattern is for a six petal, 2-layer flower. I’ve included a written description and photos of each round. At the end of the pattern I’ve included instructions for 4 variations - a seven petal 2-layer flower, or as single layer flower with options for adding more colour!
