Knitting: Child Doll (American Girl, Sasha, etc)
The following items were knit from the same skein of JulieSpins Silky (50/50 superwash merino silk blend; 435 yds/100g) in the Cherry Blossom colorway ~ mittens, scarf, hat, pullover sweater.
Knitting: Scarf
Note: Loosely cast on the initial stitches as this will be a “finished” edge.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Errata On p. 4, please change from “Repeat rows 1-4 until 7 sts remain” to “Repeat rows 5-8 until 7 sts remain.”
Knitting: Child Doll (American Girl, Sasha, etc)
This cardigan fits American Girl Dolls as well as most 18” dolls.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
My Cup of Tea socks are worked top down on dpn’s. Inspiration for these socks came from the “crocuses” pattern (p. 60) The Stitch Collection Book 5/Specialty Stitches by Debbie O’Neill.
Knitting: Cuffs
Karkom Wristwarmers are worked flat, blocked to size and made up with a traditional mattress stitch seam on the underside. The pattern includes an extra 2 stitch allowance on either side to provide a neatly finished seam.
Knitting: Applique / Embellishment
These are quick and easy to make. I like to use them to embellish a card for a baby shower along with a verse (Psalm 139:13-14 ESV.) They can easily be made into a pin or brooch, added to a name tag, a gift tag, a favor, baby announcements, or used to embellish scrapbooking pages.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Alma Ella v. 2
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I’ve adapted the lace pattern in the snowdrop lace scarf to a matching hat. It has a garter edge, three staggered lace repeats and a stockinette finish.
