Newborn goaties have a soft stool and with the first animal sweater pattern I was using, with the longer back, the back would often get poopy. This length is enough to keep warm, but also keep fairly clean.

I created this because after making a number of soft squishy cowls, I wanted a whole blanket of the squish.
