The Emberly Cowl was inspired by worm nights sitting in front of a fire, enjoying cozy fall nights. This cowl was designed with fingering weight yarn, and has a tight fit around your neck, but this cowl is so simple to adjust to your own preferences. If you want worsted weight, or a looser fit, that is easily achieved with small adjustments.

I designed this pattern in honor of my birthday. I have always loved my birthday. I think everyone should be happy and celebrate the joys of getting older. This shawl is fun and interesting with lots of texture, but it is very easy to understand and will not be to hard for a beginner.
