just because i love this set on real babies, i needed to design this for my baby doll.

North Country blue (the hat) is worked in the round (with dpns or a circular needles, it depends of your choice) and seamless.

this hap shawl is made according to the scottish tradition. it’s a charming gift for your newborn 8,5” waldorf baby. of course, the big sister will probably steal it, but this pattern is very easy and addictive…

This shawl is made to wrap your doll: she can wear it around her neck or her shoulders. It is not shaped in triangle. The body is knitted flat in garter stitch, then you’ll add the border. You’ll begin by the top of the wrap.

you’ll need about 40 g Cascade 220 = 1,4oz (= 80 meters = 87 yards); 4 dpn (or a short circular needle) US 10.5 (6,5mm);

this lace capelet is not difficult to make. it’s perfect for a lace beginner.

yoko hates sleeves when she plays in the garden, obviously, she needed a poncho. an andean poncho? no, i mixed up traditional scandinavian and fair isles designs.

i wanted a bonnet reminding baby’s hat of the beginning of the last century. but if you knit it with colored yarn, it looks like a 1960’s hat, and is very hype knitted in a dark shade.

i designed this pattern for beginners who’d like to knit for their dolls.

this pattern is written for 15-17” waldorf inspired dolls, but you can adapt it for 18” dolls by using sport weight yarn and bigger needles (4 or 5 i.e).
