it’s a slouchy hat. it fits a standard adult noggin - it fits my average 22” female head, and looks just fine on an average-sized adult male.

it features a really easy, very basic sorta-lacy pattern, a twisted rib brim and knitting in the round - a beginner can do it!

i didn’t measure gauge, and there aren’t any stitch counts - i knit this on the fly and tossed it up as a free pattern on my blog because the hat turned out so cool. so, knit at your own risk. many have, with happy results!
