Materials suggested: 30 gr MEZ crochet thread size 40 and needles size 1.50 mm for an approx. size of 52 x 52 cm or 75 x 75 cm/20½ x 20½“ or 29½ x 29½”. Or 250 g Schachenmeyr Cablégarn Coton 330 (50 g/168 m) and needles size 2.50 mm for an approx. size of 90 x 90 cm or 96 x 96 cm/36½ x 36½“ or 38 x 38”.

Materials suggested in the Kunststricken books: 60 gr. fine art-silk and steel needles size 0 for an approx. size of 47 x 47 cm/18½ x 18½“. (Old German needle size)
