The Litchfield hat and mittens feature an asymmetrical cable pattern. Designed with a tailored fit, the mittens use short rows on the back of the hand to create an anatomical curve that eliminates baggy palms. The thumb gusset is mortised into the cuff for a better fit, and the webbing area area between the thumb and fingers is shaped to hug the thumb.

The cloche-style hat begins with the cabled band. Stitches are then picked up on each long edge to work the crown and brim. Its rolled brim uses a subtle rib to add a bit of structure.
