**** This pattern has been updated December 2014. I have taken comments into consideration and have changed the edge around the hat to seed stitch to prevent curling. I have also completely changed the style and fit of the visor. It now has I-cord edging and the buttonhole issues have been fixed. I have also downsized the visor a bit and it now has a straight bottom edge. I have left the old version for those of you that loved it the way is was. Old version is the burgundy color and new version is in grey. ****

This is a PDF pattern for the “Sir Knight Helmet/Hat “. This pattern includes instructions for creating the hat in toddler, child, adult, & large adult sizes. This pattern is easy, basic knowledge. This is a great hat pattern, use it as an everyday hat outdoors, or for dress up, or even a school play. The visor is stitched in place for the small sizes, but for the toddler size and up, the visor is a great face mask/warmer! Some assembly required.

This pattern uses, knit, purl, cable cast on, 3 needle bind off and one row buttonhole and I-cord edging. I have included step by step photos for the buttonhole and several other photos to help you.
