This is a PDF pattern for the “Sir Knight Helmet/Hat “. This pattern includes instructions for creating the hat in 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, toddler, child, adult, & large adult sizes. This pattern is easy, basic knowledge. This is a great hat pattern, use it as an everyday hat outdoors, or for dress up, or even a school play. The visor is stitched in place for the small sizes, but for the toddler size and up, the visor is a great face mask/warmer! Some assembly required.

This pattern uses, knit, purl, cable cast on, 3 needle bind off and one row buttonhole. I have included step by step photos for the buttonhole and several other photos to help you.

Errata:
The buttonhole is missing steps for the bindoff. Here is a good video explaining the buttonhole steps. Your size may/may not match the pictures, the sample was child size. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EY4vBzLo-Xs

Adult size only, visor Row 6 – knit1, m1, knit2, buttonhole, knit1, m1, knit1 (11sts)
