Size 6/0 (4mm diameter) glass seed beads, approx. 35g; Miyuki silver-lined crystal #131S were used in the pictured model.

White Lotus features lovely scintillating organic forms enhanced by beaded nupps. The lotus flowers are framed by the bobble-like texture of the nupps, and the beads appear as dew drops on the flowers.

The scallops along the edges naturally form from the heavily-biasing nature of the stitch pattern.

ERRATA: page 3 Written Stitch Instructions for Row 11 of Increase Shaping should say 4 sts increased (not 2 sts increased). The chart is correct.

The shape of this stole is a cross between a rectangle and a triangle, thus providing both an interesting project to knit as well as to wear.

Skill Level Experienced or adventurous intermediate. Good control over tension is required for making uniform nupps. The pattern stitch is heavily biased and requires confident skills in severe blocking. A test sample is suggested to assure your completed project will be the look you want. Both charted and line-by-line written instructions are provided.
