I was born and raised in Paris. I caught the needles virus while I was expecting my son. Encouraged by a knitter friend of mine, I followed the footsteps of my mother, grand mother, aunt and grand aunt. It must be said that the virus is family and very contagious! A lot of my childhood memories involve knitting. In my family, pullovers travel from hand to hand and from generation to generation, like a true heritage.
Today I am a knitwear designer, and I share here my designs. I work in partnership with wool brands and magazines, and collaborate with the ethical and timeless knit clothes brand L’Envers.
My designs both fashionable and timeless are enjoyable to knit. I like to deflect the codes of traditionnal knitting, creating for example an angora fisherman sweater or a mohair boyfriend cardigan. I take my inspiration both from the family library which introduced me to the world of the folk knits and from my everyday life and air du temps to create clothes that I wish are incarnate : follow their adventures on the blog, section Sentimental Tricot to discover their secrets. My knittings all have an history, a personality and even a name. I imagine that every time I slip on a sweater it is like a cuddle. That’s why I chose my threads very carefully.
Sharing is a part of my approach, don’t hesitate to contact me.
