Amanda Berry

My Mum taught me how to knit when I was a little girl, but I never progressed beyond a scarf for my teddy bear.

More than 20 years later, I picked up the needles again and soon got hooked on knitting.

I started making little knitted toys, but struggled to find any patterns that I really liked. As necessity is the mother of invention, I started designing my own toys.

I was inspired to open a store after several people asked me if they could buy my patterns.

My “woodland friends” collection is inspired by the works of children’s book illustrators Joyce Lankester Brisley, Racey Helps and Barbara Cooney. My toys are named after locations in London.

I hope you enjoy my designs. I sell my patterns here on Ravelry and online at :

All patterns are for knitting on straight needles (no awkward knitting in the round). My patterns are written so that they are easier for beginners to follow, and include lots of photos and instructions to help you.

Thank you for stopping by, and have a fluffy, fuzzy day!
