I’m just a girl who happens to carry around sticks and hooks at all times. They come paired with sturdy yarn and scissors, so I also carry a licence to kill. Or knit. Or crochet. Whichever strikes me as the most fun at the moment.

I have an American rabbit named Guinness and an Aussie Shepherd named Butch. They’re both fascinated with yarn, which sometimes spells disaster. My boy, Mike, is also fascinated. He’s also attempting to learn to crochet, which oft times leads to hilarious results.

At the moment, I’m yearning for Japanese yarns. Makers like Puppy, Hamanaka, etc. make me so very happy. I also love slow, gradually striping yarn.
