I taught myself to crochet while I was unemployed for 3 months (in between grad school and job land). I found a job (I’m an interior and architectural designer) but couldn’t stop crocheting! I’ve written a few patterns and have a lot more ideas that I want to publish. Funnily enough, I now dream of going back to “unemployment” to design crochet full time :)
