I design under the name Caribou Knits, a teeny knitwear design company in British Columbia, Canada. We know you all think Canadians live in snowdrifts and ride reindeer, and Caribou is here to celebrate that myth.
The Caribou production centre is a cozy little cabin at the foot of a snow-capped range, with quilts piled high, closets filled with handknit sweaters, and fresh baked pumpkin pie in the kitchen. When I’m not hiking the tundra, picking wild blueberries and chatting with the mountain goats, I’m cozied up by the fire, designing knitted treats for you.
It’s cold outside, don’t you think you need something woolly to keep warm?
