I’ve been knitting for many years, and am also a spinner and weaver, with an interest in historic textiles.

I’ve always adapted patterns and developed my own designs, but now I’m being more self-disciplined and publishing original designers so others can knit them.

Knitting and other textile work are one side of my creative life; the other is writing, and I’m a published author of romantic suspense novels, set in Australia. I often knit while I’m staring at the computer screen, but that’s when I do simple knitting, that doesn’t take too much concentration!

I live in the bush in rural Australia, on 100 acres of beautiful forest.
