I’m 60 years old. I have always written patterns but just recently have decided to release some for publication. I’ve been married for 40 years. We have two children that have grown into wonderful and thoughtful adults. I teach knitting and spinning.

I know that I won’t have time to list all my yarns, needles and books. That would cut into my knitting time!

Trust me that I have a sizeable stash. It lives in it’s own bedroom that we refer to as The Yarn Sanctuary. The Yarn shares the Sanctuary with over 100 lbs of spinning fiber and over 3 bookcases full of knitting books binders of knitting patterns and magazines.They are a happy lot.

My biggest challenges are corralling the free-range patterns, making sure a kitteh is not hiding in The Yarn Sanctuary when I close the door and trying to explain to my husband that sometimes I really do need to buy more yarn. I mean seriously, I do have a lot of yarn but I don’t have it all.

I have recently passed my first half century of knitting; currently working on my second half century of knitting!
