I have been an at-home wife and mom for most of the last 30 years. A few years ago it occurred to me that my days were becoming less full and the demands of motherhood were coming to an end, and I started to look at other things to do. I considered going back to school, interviewed for a few jobs….

In the end, I decided to Knit.

So for the last few years I have been looking after a small herd of college kids. Some are my own children, some not. When someone moves out, someone else turns up. I keep busy providing them with food, advice, food, encouragement, food, love, and did I mention food. It is frequently crowded, busy and noisy, but through it all…I knit.
