I taught myself to knit when I was 9…wanted to take it as a 4-H project but the leader said she couldn’t teach me because I am left handed. So…I taught myself. I opened Needles ‘n Pins Yarn Shoppe in rural Delavan, WI in 1993. I have done design work for Cascade Yarns, Farmhouse Yarns as well as Simply Shetland Yarns. I have a leaflet published through Leisure Arts and six books (Saturday Sweaters,Top Down Sweaters, Saturday Style, Grammy’s Favorite Knits for Baby, Easy Knitting for Baby and Pick Your Stitch--Build a Blanket) published by Martingale & Company.
