By knitting this cabled afghan in strips, it’s much easier to keep track of where you are in each cable pattern, thus making the project a much less daunting undertaking. Keeping narrow garter-stitch borders on each strip makes seaming a breeze and virtually invisible.

ERRATA:

--Center Panel instructions Rows 3-8 should say ‘Cable Panels’, NOT ‘Lace Panels’.

--Side Panel instructions:

Row 2 should say K3 after the first ‘work row 2 of ‘eight-stitch cable’, NOT P3.

Top Border should read:
Rows 1, 3, & 5-Knit
Rows 2 & 4- K3, P1, K10, P1, K2, P1, K21, P1, K2, P1, K10, P1, K3.
