I’m 25 years old… my life has always revolved around the arts….. Music, dance, knitting….. I’ve been a performing musician since I was 12, a dance teacher since 13, and a fiddle instructor for about 8 years.

I was homeschooled after 4th grade due to my musical pursuits. Good thing my parents made that decision because it resulted in the formation of the family band, The Homegrown String Band. We’ve been performing our brand of American Roots music since January 1997 when we had our first gig (and I wore plaid pajama pants and a floppy green felt hat….. yes, I remember!).

All my designs (excepting the 1st few) are named for American fiddle tunes or songs.
