Squishy garter stitch meets meandering cables in this worsted weight shawl that takes you from morning coffee to an evening out. The main body of the shawl increases on every row giving the wingspan a “U” shape that wraps easily around your shoulders. The cabled border is knit on, which means no long bind off required!

Choose from two sizes; a standard shawl or a large “blanket” wrap. Either are perfect choices for cold Winter days or transitional weather! Both sizes begin the same way with the larger size simply having more rows in the body and cable repeats.

Please keep in mind that the gauge is given for garter stitch after steam blocking. The end size and gauge of your finished piece will largely be determined by how aggressive your blocking style is. For a shawl the gauge isn’t critical for fit, however, not working at gauge may alter yardage.
