I’ve been knitting since I was a child. After quitting my career job (29 years) I am exploring fiber arts. I am knitting on commission as a way to enjoy a passion and not fill the house with knits I’ll never wear. I am a weaver and sell some of my work in local galleries and online. I am a beginner spinner and wish I had more time for that.

On a whim I started designing knitting patterns and wanting to sell those led to establishing a company, Heron Pond Designs, and a website and now a Ravelry store.
