As a knitter, I’ve been working to take on lots of traditional and non-traditional techniques. Then I often set out on my own. Sometimes one of my experiments seems repeatable, and when that happens, I try to post a breadcrumb trail. Does that make me a designer? Charles Eames said everyone is a designer. You can hardly live on this planet without making something, right? Well, I don’t know how to write patterns that people can easily follow.
