I adore the challenge of cables and twisted stitches. I prefer knitting smaller projects, particularly socks, which are quick to knit and easy to carry around and due to my passion for nice yarn, much cheaper to knit than big projects!

As you can see, I’ve been designing a few of my own knits, which is something I absolutely love doing and keeps my mind active. I’m keeping my designs simple to give experienced knitters a quick, easily memorised knit, and novice knitters the chance to have a go at some fairly simple cabled and twisted stitch designs.

I also enjoy hand-dyeing yarn, experimenting with colour and I’m obsessed with dyeing stripes! My Etsy shop is now open where I have some of my hand painted yarn; stripes, variegated and semi-solid.
