“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful” - William Morris
I’m knitting out of a small Boston apartment so things have to be both useful and beautiful to earn a place here. The merits of patient knitting - swatching, frogging mistakes, measuring - have revealed themselves after almost a decade of working at this. I’ve also learned that wool pullovers will always make me too sweaty and that I never seem to wear fingerless mitts. Alas.
