I feel compelled to write this due to the number of “experiences” I’ve had with copyright issues on and off Ravelry:

A word on copyright: I wrote this pattern for personal and non-profit use only. You can knit this pattern for yourself, as gifts, or even for charity fund raisers/auctions. You may not sell items made from my patterns. You may not sell or give out copies of my patterns via printed, copied, electronic files, or any other distribution methods not listed here. Purchasing the PDF pattern and swapping/trading it through Ravelry.com or other websites is also prohibited (Ravelry.com has nifty little “gift” feature that you should use when purchasing patterns to be gifted, “swapped”, or “traded”). Do not reprint this pattern, in or whole or in part, anywhere (this also includes your pattern notes online). Think about karma and if you have any questions, just ask.
