In 2001 I decided to teach myself to knit by creating a truly hideous scarf full of dropped stitches and unintentional yarn overs. Eternally stubborn and not to be dissuaded, I worked at it tirelessly until I had the fundamentals down, and never looked back.

In 2014 I decided that the next great thing for me to master was designing my own patterns, and despite many bumps in the road, my stubbornness again persevered, and my first pattern was released in 2015.

To this day, I still have that hideous first scarf I knit.
