I am an environmetalist by profession, a philosopher by academic title, a mother of 3 sons (aged 15, 13, 10) and an avid knitter scince the age of 12.

My home is in a little village in the Alps. To balance this out, I work in the biggest city of Switzerland, Zurich. Therefore, most of my knitting is done in public, in the train, while commuting.

In winter 2005/06, I started spinning. I work usully with my Ashford Traditional, but I also have a traditional swiss wheel made especially for me.

I usually knit my own patterns. If I pick an existing pattern, it’s for sure that I’ll add some alterations.

My mother tongue is (swiss-)german, but I can also communicate in english, french and a little bit in italian.
