I’m a poor college student who’s addicted to knitting and crocheting. My patterns are usually free because I hate paying for patterns myself so I don’t see why I should make you.
All of my patterns have been throughly tested by the wonderful people over at the group Free Pattern Testers. Kudos to them.
My knitting career began during Christmas of 2000 when I was in 5th grade. My Gran gave me the beginnings of a scarf and a knitting book, and I’ve been knitting up a storm ever since. My friends have even nick-named me the “knitting machine” or, more recently since I picked up crochet, the “fiber fiend”. Best Christmas gift I ever got.
I began crocheting in January of 2009, when a good friend of mine saw me jealously eyeing her beautiful crochet and offered to teach me the basic stitches. That, along with the internet, caused me to start crocheting like crazy. And, since I couldn’t read crochet patterns to save my life at the time, I began to make stuff up based on my knowledge of knitting and found that I was fairly good at it. Thus, I began to design.
I hate it when I am having problems with a pattern and get stuck. If anyone has any problems with any of my patterns, please, feel free to contact me and I will do my best to help you. Similarly, if you find a mistake in my patterns please send me a message so I can fix it! All my patterns are tested, but my testers and I are only human and I know that mistakes can happen.
Please do not, under any circumstances, sell my patterns for your own profit. Most of these are free, and I would like to keep it that way. Selling one of my patterns is a violation of copy write law.
