I have no licensing or restrictions regarding selling items made from my patterns. If you sell items made from my patterns I ask you to label them with name of pattern and designer and where to find the pattern (Ravelry). Of course you don’t hand out or sell the patterns, neither printed nor the files (due to copyright).

All patterns are in pdf-format (no hard copies available).

The Swedish word for knitting is “stickning”.
My nickname Stickfia would in English be something like “Knitting Sue”

Life without knitting isn’t worth living!

My mother taught me to knit (and crochet and lots of other good stuff) from about 6 years of age (mine, not hers). Since then I’ve completed a lot of sweaters, hats, mittens, socks and other things (like potholders and cellphone covers).

I alway try to understand knitting and how stitches are linked together. This helps me to understand patterns and calculate how to make required changes. And sometimes I knit without any pattern at all. Only recently I’ve understood that my “knitting without pattern” is actually designing. And once I got that I started to write patterns.

I don’t like to frog my knitting. But I like to knit a frog, for instance the Potholder Frog!
