Mary-Heather Cogar

I’m Mary-Heather, a lifelong crafter living in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I knit, crochet, and spin yarn; I’m also learning to weave and dabble in embroidery. Working as the VP of Operations and Do-Gooder at Ravelry.com, I’m immersed in the fiber world every day. I love my job and wake up every day excited to work on my favorite community on the web.

My independent knitwear designs are available here and on Ravelry, and I’ve been published in other crafty sources including Design*Sponge, Twist Collective, Greetings from Knit Cafe, Boho Baby Knits, and Pretty Little Pincushions. Before Ravelry, I managed the West Hollywood yarn store Knit Cafe, and taught theatre, art, and other creative classes for children.

When I’m not working or crafting, I’m cooking, running, exploring New Mexico, watching old movies, hiking with my giant lapdog Charlie, or hitting up a yoga class. I knit, crochet, and spin yarn; I’m also learning to weave and dabble in embroidery.
