Michelle studied for a diploma in fashion design at The London College of Fashion and did her work experience with the wonderful designer Bill Gibb. Going on to study business management. Using the two skills, working as a manager of a building society by day and still designing for private clients by night and weekends.
After a few years an opportunity arose to return to study part-time, Michelle studied for a City & Guilds Certs pts 1&2 in Crochet, C&G pts 1&2 in Machine Knitting and C&G pt1 Embroidery and C&G pts 1&2 Teaching Adults. She started teaching and also designing knitted and crocheted swatches through agents, plus continued to design and made garments and jewellery for sale.
The website NezumiWorld started in 2002 as a creative ideas textile site. The website continues to grow and hopefully more videos will be added to YouTube soon.
Michelle has a few patterns for sale here on Ravelry and some free ones too, look out for more coming soon.
